In Szreniawa (Poland) we found an agricultural museum. And to be honest… an agricultural museum doesn't really appeal to us. "If I want to see cows, I'll look at a meadow." But…. this was something different! Because agriculture also includes….. Crop-dusting aircraft:
A visit to the Aviodrome Aviation Museum is always good to have a look around to see if there's anything new. Honestly, not “my” kind of museum. All super sleek, new, shiny. So if you like that.. go! If you're more into rust, rotten and old… (something I like better myself)… nah.
Gatow Airport was built in 1935. The Luftkriegschule 2 of the Luftwaffe was located here from January 15, 1940. In May 1945, Gatow was occupied by the Red Army. Berlin was split into four sectors and in July 1945 the airport was handed over to the British Royal Air Force.
